View detailsHow to choose a dog-friendly stay
- Check the size limit. W Sydney takes one pet per room up to 18 kg and Crowne Plaza Darling Harbour has a 20 kg limit, while Kimpton Margot Sydney lists no size, weight or breed limit.
- Not every room takes dogs. The Ultimo Hotel limits pets to its Courtyard Rooms, and The Hughenden and Sutherland Motel have only some pet-friendly rooms, so request one when you book.
- Compare fees. As listed, Quest Cronulla Beach charges $120 per room per night and W Sydney $200 a day. Other hotels say a fee applies, so confirm the current rate when you book.
- Plan around being unattended. W Sydney, Crowne Plaza Darling Harbour and Quest Cronulla Beach do not allow pets to be left alone in the room.
House rules to know
- Dogs must be leashed in common areas at Pier One Sydney Harbour and Quest Cronulla Beach. W Sydney does not allow pets in public areas such as restaurants, bars and the pool.
